Frequently asked questions
Everything about free Globalia calls
How do the five free minutes work?+
Verify a mobile or landline number you control, allow microphone access, and call an eligible destination from the browser. The allowance is limited per verified number, browser, and network and resets daily at midnight Mexico City time.
Why does Globalia need to verify my number?+
The verification call confirms that you control a real phone number. It protects the free offer from automated abuse and helps keep the trial available to genuine callers.
Will the person I call see my verified number?+
Not during the free trial. Verification unlocks the trial, but trial calls are placed without presenting your personal number. To use your number as caller ID on eligible paid calls, add it from Verified caller ID in your Globalia account.
Which destinations are included?+
The trial includes destinations whose current carrier cost is below 3¢ USD per minute. Globalia checks the route before every call and tells you when a destination is not eligible.
Do I need an eSIM or credit card?+
No. The browser trial only needs a supported browser, microphone permission, and a phone number you can answer for verification.
Can I make emergency calls?+
No. Globalia internet calling does not support emergency services. Use your regular mobile or local telephone service for emergency calls.
