Does my eSIM come with a phone number?

Only plans that come with a number include one. You can tell on the plan page: a plan with a number lists its calling minutes and texts next to the data. A plan that shows only data has no number. See our plans with a phone number.

How the number works

  • The mobile operator chooses it. The number cannot be chosen, reserved or seen before you buy.
  • It appears after activation. Your number shows in the eSIM line's details on your phone once the eSIM is installed and has connected to a network in a country the plan covers. Before that, no number is shown, and that is normal.
  • Each plan has its own calling rules. Some plans allow local calls only. Read the operator's terms on the plan page before you buy.
  • It works only in the phone with the eSIM. You cannot use the number from a computer or another phone.
  • Example: Global+ plans come with a US (+1) number that you can use in the plan's countries.

On a data-only plan, apps like WhatsApp and Telegram still work for messages and calls over data, and your own SIM stays on your phone for your usual number.
